Previously, there were various kinds of attacks. This included the attacks in Sulawes.  Until 1950,  massacres  took place in  West Java province.  The attack was led directly by Captain Westerling.   Together with the APRA (Ratu Adil War Force), together with 800 people, they cruelly committed various kinds of cruel acts.

The heinous APRA  uprising  in West Java

The bloody attack  with the victims of APRIS members was led by Piere Westerling.   The attack took place in  1950. That is exactly what  was  done on January 23rd.   Reports say that Westerling had 500 thousand soldiers who formed a secret organization.

It was supplied directly by JM Verburgh, who is the superintendent of the police from the Netherlands.  Reports were received that the secret organization was named Ratu Adil Persatuan Indonesia.   Meanwhile, the organization  has  armed units.   This is called APRA.

The APRA uprising  in West Java in   1950 had specific goals. When  it was formed, Westerling contacted the  commander-in-chief of the Dutch  army named Buurman Van Vreeen.   The meeting was hosted by Westerling to discuss plans for an uprising in  the  government  of  President Sukarno.

Finally, when it was in 1950  5 .   January, Piere Westerling sent his ultimatum to RIS.   In essence, he demanded that the RIS respect states such as the Pasundan State. He also asked the RIS to recognize that the APRA is an armed force and serves as a Pasundan soldier.

However, the ultimatum has clearly not been answered.  In the end, he decided to carry out a coup.   Westerling  and his followers  shot and killed the armed forces they found.   Several of his soldiers, along with Sergeant Meijer, were launched into the  city of Jakarta to arrest Soekarn.

APRA Uprising in  West Java In   1950  AD.  l. had as its objective di Below

This massive uprising  in West Java province took  place after Indonesia became independent.   Resistance continued to take place in various places until  one  day Indonesia actually gained independence  with its own hands.

However, after the announcement of independence, various disputes or problems seem to have arisen.  In fact, the APRA  uprising  in West Java in   1950  had quite a few goals.

  1. Udržiavanie RIS

The Dutch colonizers and the  Republic of Indonesia conducted  various negotiations and  have always been the Indonesian side  , often  receiving losses.   For example,  when  negotiations  such as Linggarjati and Renville took place,  it  turned out that the Dutch side denied this.

The Republic of Indonesia is led by  various parties.   Nevertheless, there are also those who  want the RIS to stay.   They are supporters of APRA.   Supporters of a unitary state were eventually paralysed   by the  APRA

  1. The Netherlands wants to be safe in Indonesia

The aim of the APRA uprising in  West Java in  1950  was also to keep the Dutch safely afloat in Indonesia.    The existence of these colonists in Indonesia apparently brought them  a great profit.   They receive funds from the colonies for life.

Of course,  the Dutch side received benefits  from various areas.   The APRA uprising also took place as a starting point to maintain its position in Indonesia.

  1. Pasundian states  can be defended

Negara Federal Pasundan is actually part of RIS.  The site is located in the province of West Java.  The Dutch  supported him   to support  him  with   people who did not side with   the Republic of Indonesia. This was done  with a mere promise to the people of Indonesia.

  1. Establishment of the Federal State

The APRA uprising in  West Java  in  1950 aimed to establish a federal state in the country.   This is the main purpose of setting up an APRA.   This is done by killing various important parties to trigger the action.

  1. Defending your own army

The Netherlands also wants to have its own army in its own country. The right to freedom to govern the territory. Those who joined the APRA were soldiers who were not accepted into the APRIS due to insufficient requirements. Thus, the APRA will be used as the main army in the state of Pasundan.

Sadistic  APRA Uprising

The APRA uprising in  West Java in   1950 had a very sadistic purpose.   This uprising left very deep wounds. Bandung is like a dead city in the early 1950s. Early  in the morning exactly 23.  On January 1950  ,  the troops moved to various posts in the city of Bandung.

The soldier was the leader of  Raymond Westerling, queen of the APRA.   The movement continued to be carried out by the APRA forces.   They walked,  rode peat bogs, jeeps and much more. These soldiers will rebel against civilians, seize goods and carry out various types of torture.

The inhabitants of Bandung  were terrified.   All shops are closed.   All residents tried to save themselves from the rebel forces. The soldiers continued to disarm all those who met on the Cimindi road to Cibereum.    All the APRIS members they found were killed.

The staff, who were ready to head to  their  respective bases, also did not escape their cruelty.   Westerling,  along  with his men,  never had the opportunity to shoot the  APRIS soldiers I met.   Not only  were  they  shot by shooting, but the APRIS soldiers  were even chopped up like animals.

Their violent acts  killed at least 61  TNI soldiers.   The APRA  uprising in  West Java in   1950 to help the Dutch side also left18 civilians innocent.   In fact, none of the APRA members was a victim.   Thanks to this incident,  Bandung became like a dead  city.

APRA’s recognition of heartbreakingjustice

The incident, which was  very  disturbing in  Bandung,  was  also acknowledged by the APRA.   The group admitted that  it had carried out various kinds of expulsions of military figures to civilian representatives in Bandung.

In fact, Westerling focuses on several important personalities of West Java province.   These figures include  Colonel Sadikin, Lieutenant Soetoko as  Deputy Chief of  Staff of the  Siliw a ngi Division,  and Major Mohamad Rivai as the Governor’s Head of Military Information   .   Army IV  West Java.

The other four  are Lieutenant Colonel Sentot Iskandardinata, Colonel Lentan dr.   Errie Sudewo, who is chief  of staff of the Siliwangi division, Sudjono, who is  a member of the Pasundan state parliament  but opposes the RI and CPM major Roehan Roesli.   The assassination plan  was carried out by giving the poison to 7 people.

But attempts to kill by mixing poison in their drinks apparently failed n. This is because  one  of  the  members knew about  the  plan from the  very  vicious APRA party  .   Finally, they planned to conduct  live shooting.   However, it    did not work  either because  every target managed to escape.

The truly heinous actions of  the  APRA can be  a dark history  for the Indonesian  nation. In the post-independence era,  various forms of uprising occurred,  which caused Indonesia to fade.   The APRA   uprising in West Java in   1950 aimed  to weaken the Republic of Indonesia and destroy its rule.
